A New Adventure Awaits

Two years ago, I sent my oldest off to Kindergarten.  I cried.

In two short weeks, I’m sending another child off down the path to higher education in a big yellow bus.   She is thrilled.   Me?   Not so much.   Sure, when all three of the monkey children are screaming at each other or fighting over whose turn it is to use the vet stethoscope, I briefly imagine the quiet that will happen with 2 in school and one napping.

And then I sigh because…well… it will be so quiet when 2 are in school and one is napping.

We have our class assignments and our school supplies.    We have our new backpacks and 86 glue sticks each.   And we have 2 happy kids that can’t wait to get on that big yellow bus.

How much do you want to bet that I cry?

Until next time…

I just saw your project in Holiday Home Magazine for the Hot Cocoa Cone. I have the penguin stamp you used, but was wondering how you make it look so great. I am a beginning stamper and could use some tips. Thanks.

Disregard my last question! I just realized you used the chipboard penguin that I already have–it looks just like the stamp that is part of the series. Dumb question–sorry!
